Remember these names – Arisa Trew and Chloe Covell

On July 23rdwhile we were celebrating 9 years to the Brisbane 2023 Olympics two 13yo girls were competing at the X Games in California.

Celebrating Gold, Chloe won the women’s street competition a few hours before Asia Trew claimed the women’s vert.

A month earlier Arisa had created skateboarding history by being the first female to successfully land a 720 while competing at Tony Hawk's Vert Alert in Salt Lake City, Utah.

In 1985 Tony Hawk was the first rider to complete a 720 (two full rotations in the air) and was there to witness this record breaking feat, making it all the more magical for Arisa
